Carrie Inez Moss Floyd Robinson, 86, of Moss Drive, Concord, NC, passed away Saturday, May 13, in Cabarrus County.
She was born February 17, 1931, in Cabarrus County to the late Robert William Moss and the late Mary Alexander Moss.
Carrie graduated from the Cabarrus County Schools and attended Nursing School. She was formerly employed by Cannon Mills and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and the Gospel Lights Choir.
Services will be held on Friday, May 19, at Macedonia Baptist Church. Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 PM with funeral services at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robinson; and four sons, Norman Floyd, Willie Floyd, Alfred Floyd and Michael Floyd.
Those left to cherish fond memories include four daughters, Naomi Anderson of Gastonia, Mary “Toosi” Morrison (Billy), Kay Houston, Carrie Sturgis (James) all of Concord; five sons, Robert Floyd (Donna) of China Grove, Donald Floyd (Janette), Curtis Black both of Charlotte, Joseph Floyd (Sheila) of Kannapolis, Frederick Moss (Lupe) of Concord; 53 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Morrow of Charlotte; god-son, James Moss of Concord; and a host of, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
