Maggie Ola-Bell Bolder Alexander, 91, of Odessa Drive, Kannapolis, NC passed away Friday, April 14, at her residence.
She was born May 10, 1925, in Cabarrus County to the late Joe Bolder and the late Cora Lee Cannon Bolder.
Maggie was educated in the Cabarrus County Schools and was formerly employed by Fieldcrest Cannon. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board (president for 21 years), Kitchen Committee, Hymn Choir and a Missionary.
Services will be Thursday, April 20, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be 11:00AM – 12:00 PM with funeral services at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Will Alexander; and sisters, Eva McCain, Rosie Moss and Bessie Bolder.
Those left to cherish fond memories include four daughters, Yvonne Davis (Carlton) of Jacksonville, FL, Verlene Alexander, Paulette Alexander and Co-Pastor Vanessa Perry (Rev. Fred) all of Kannapolis; five sons, Isaac Alexander (Annie) of Fayetteville, NC, Ernest Wayne Alexander (Vanessa), Willie Roger Alexander, Osborne Alexander all of Kannapolis and Pastor Marvin R. Alexander (Deirdre) of Princeton, NC; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one, great-great grandchild; brother, Daniel Bolder of Greensboro, NC; special son, Robert Miller of Concord; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
