James Benson Pough, Jr. 68, of Basin Avenue, Kannapolis, NC, passed away Saturday, August 4, at Tucker Hospice House.
He was born April 16, 1950, in Cabarrus County to the late James Benson Pough, Sr. and the late Ella Pough Isom.
James was educated in the Cabarrus County public schools and was formerly employed by Cannon Mills. He was a member of Centergrove Church of Christ..
Services will be held Friday, August 10, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 PM with funeral services at 1:00. Burial will follow at Rutherford Memorial Cemetery.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lila Mae Pough and brother, Edward Raymond Pough.
Those left to cherish fond memories include a sister, Janie B. Rose (Donald) of Kannapolis; Niece, Tracie Pough of Kannapolis; nephews, Terrese Pough (Shirley Barber) of Salisbury, NC, Eric Rose and Sterling Rose both of Kannapolis; step-children, Reggie Littlejohn, Pricilla Graham both of Kannapolis and Regina Fields f Clayton, NC; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
