The presence of Our Lord and Savior was apparent on March 21, 1968 when our family was blessed with a beautiful baby daughter, Nyoka M. Scott. Born in Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late Willie L. Scott, Sr. and Ethel Bramhan Scott Waddell. A root has been pulled from our family tree and it can never be replaced. We are mightily blessed as we remember the good times, the laughter and the songs our beloved enjoyed singing. Our family will forever hold a special place in our heart for our dear Nyoka.

She was educated in the Stanly County public schools and graduated from North Stanly High School, New London, North Carolina- Class of 1986.A gifted student, especially in the field of science, Nyoka chose not only one profession in the medical field, but three.
