Robert Wesley Pearson, Sr., 65, of Broad Drive, Concord, NC passed away Sunday, September 15, at Tucker Hospice House.
He was born October 29, 1953 in Cabarrus County, to the late Martin Pearson and th elate Mary Teeter Pearson.
Robert was a graduate of Concord High School and served in the US Air Force. He attended the Church of God of Prophesy and was a member of the Harold Goodman American Legion Post #172 and the Magnificent Seven.
Services will be held Sunday, September 22, at Living Water Church of God, 162 N. Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be 2:00 – 3:00 PM with funeral services at 3:00 PM. Burial will Monday, September 23 at 10:00 AM at the National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Pearson and Sister, Diane Ross..
Those left to cherish fond memories include: his wife, Dorothy S. Pearson of the home; two daughters, Nakisha Scott-Sowell (Ed), Jalisa Pearson both of Concord; two sons, Jammie Parker of Kannapolis, Robert W. Pearson, Jr, of Concord; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Martin Pearson, Billy Pearson (Della), Archie Pearson (Tamera) all of Concord; three sisters, Marilyn Drye (Steve), Shirley Pearson both of Concord, Beverly Pearson of Greensboro; aunt, Minnie Kiser of Concord; reared as a brother, Michael Rush (Connie); special sons, Jeremy Franklin, Mark Andrews, Lamont Bennett, Michael Deese; goddaughter, Tameka Edwards; special friends, Sonny Miller, Chad Coleman, Julius Mitchell, Tommy Mason, Perry Stinson, Michael Freeman and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
