Obituary

Amos Lewis McClorey, Jr., 49, of Cooper Ave, Kannapolis, NC, departed this earthly life on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Atrium Health-Cabarrus.

He was born June 29, 1973, in Cabarrus County to Amos Lewis McClorey, Sr. and Cathy Johnson McClorey.

Amos was educated in the Cabarrus County School System and was Self-Employed as a Barber. He was a former member of Bethel AME Zion Church, Kannapolis and member of First Christian Church, Concord.

Service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at First Christian Church, 158 Rone Ave., SW, Concord, NC. Visitation will be 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM with Services at 2:00 PM.  

Those left to cherish fond memories include his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Amos & Cathy McClorey, Sr. of the home; one daughter, Imani Miller of Greensboro, NC; one son, Caleb Pedew of the home; one sister, Tera McClorey of Charlotte, NC; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Love of Charlotte, NC; one niece, Taryn Hare of Charlotte, NC and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Due to Covid-19, masks are appreciated if worn in all services.
