Obituary

Andrew Brown, Sr., 90, of Athens St. Kannapolis, NC passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cabarrus. He was born in Cabarrus County, on February 16, 1930 to the late Frank Brown and the late Mary Sloan Brown.

Andrew was a graduate of G.W. Carver High School and served in the US Army.  He was formerly employed as a truck driver.

Services will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 23.  Visitation will be 2:30 – 3:00 PM, with funeral services at 3:00.  Burial will be held 9:00 AM Monday, March 1, at the Salisbury National Cemetery.

Those left to cherish his memory includes his wife, Marie M. Brown of the home; three daughters, Rosalyn Brown, Karen Robinson, Trina Renee Smith all of Kannapolis, NC; two sons, Andrew Brown, Jr, Andre’ Brown, Sr. (Gloria) both of Kannapolis, NC; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
