Obituary
Arnold Hicks “Doom”, 76 of Mable Ave, Kannapolis departed this earthly life on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Tucker Hospice House.
He was born April 24, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA to the Gladys Hicks.
Arnold was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School in Fairfax, VA. He was formerly employed in Construction. Arnold was a member of the Gum Springs Youth Association in Alexandria, VA.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, 923 Indiana Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rutherford Memorial Cemetery in Concord, NC.
Those left to cherish fond memories include his wife, Linda K. Hicks of the home; his children, Bernard Hicks of Manassas, VA, Arnold Lorenzo Hicks (Edna) of Glendale, CA, Monte Hicks of Arlington, VA, Eunice Williams of Glendale, CA, Garnett Antonio Hicks of Kannapolis, NC and Roy Dwayne Hay of Fairfax, VA; six grandchildren; his in-laws, Mary Kluttz, Luther Kluttz (Angela), Louetta White (James), Shirley Muldrow, Harry Kluttz (Sharon), Donnie Kluttz, Ronnie Kluttz and Rayvon Kluttz (Catherine) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to Covid-19, masks are appreciated if worn in all services.
