Benny Boger, Jr.

Benny Boger, Jr., 78, of Lash Drive, Salisbury, NC departed this earthly life on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at his residence.

He was born November 10, 1947, in Rowan County to the late Benny Boger, Sr., and the late Roberta L. Haynes Boger.

Benny was educated in the Rowan County School Systems and was a graduate of J.C. Price High School. He was formerly employed with Meridian Brick.

Benny was a member of Mt. Calvary Holy Church and a lifelong customer of Skinny Wheels Bike Shop.

Services will be on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 300 S. Caldwell Street, Salisbury, NC.  Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM with services at 11:00 AM.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Gillespie Boger.

Cherishing his loving memory are his two sons, Jeremiah Boger (Timesheia Allen) of Mocksville, NC, Jonathan Joshua Boger of Charlotte, NC; one daughter, Dasha Boger of Matthews, NC; five grandchildren, Harmoney Boger, Josiah Boger, Melody Boger, Amiah Boger and Alana Allen; special nephew, Justin Owens; special niece, Melinda Mitchell and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
