Obituary
Bonnie Lynn Patterson, 67 of Hightop Lane, China Grove, NC, departed this earthly life on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Atrium Health-Cabarrus, Concord, NC.
She was born March 20, 1956 to the late Luther Alexander Patterson and the late Florence Elizabeth Boyd Rushing in Cabarrus County.
Bonnie was educated in the Kannapolis City School System and a graduate of Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She was a member of Sills Creek AME Zion Church.
Services will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Sills Creek AME Zion Church, 3165 Bradshaw Road, Mooresville, NC 28115. Visitation will be at 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM; with funeral services at 1:00 PM. Burial will be on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM, VA National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, Derric Walker of the home; three daughters, LaShonda Patterson of Kannapolis, NC; Robin P Kline (Fred) of Kannapolis, NC and Garrietta Patterson of Salisbury, NC; one son Bobby Patterson of Kannapolis, NC; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Wiltshire of Salisbury, NC; best friend, Annie Stockton, Godson, Thomas Stockton and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to Covid-19 Mask are appreciated if worn to all services.
