Charles Baucom Caldwell

Charles Baucom Caldwell 83, of Tournament Dr, SW, Concord, NC  departed this earthly life on  Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Tucker Hospice House.

He was born February 27, 1940, in Cabarrus County to the late Scott Caldwell and the late Rachel Evans Caldwell.

Charles attended Logan School and was formerly employed with Cannon Mills. He was a former member of Church of God of Prophesy where he served as a deacon.

Service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00  to 2:00 PM  with service to follow at 2:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Rutherford Memorial Cemetery.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Shaw Caldwell; siblings, Lula Caldwell, Willie Bell White, Bill Caldwell, Scott Caldwell, Jr, Joe Caldwell, Mary Howie, Betty Jean Coleman, Sarah Lee Kates; granddaughter, Charlese Caldwell.

Those left to cherish fond memories include, five daughters, Rachel Wilson (James), Tina Hamrick both of Kannapolis, NC, Charlene Caldwell, Sara Ann Caldwell (Darlene -deceased), Victoria Caldwell of the home; three stepsons, Kevin Shaw (Rev. Wonda) Steve Shaw (Rachel) both of Kannapolis, NC, Lewis Shaw of Morganton, NC; 24 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; three brothers, John Lewis Caldwell, Robert Caldwell (Pat), Emanuel Caldwell (Kathy); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
