Obituary
Charmain Gloria Kennedy Walker, 71 of E. Franklin Street, Salisbury, NC, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
She was born July 27, 1952, to the late Paul Jones and the late Louise Kennedy Jones.
Charmain received her education in the Kannapolis City School System where she attended A.L. Brown.
Services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, 923 Indiana Street. Kannapolis, NC 28083, Visitation will be from 2:00 PM — 3:00 PM with funeral services at 3:00 PM.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Dewana Nicole Walker.
Those left to cherish fond memories include her husband Dewthay Walker Sr. of the home; two sons, Dewthay Walker Jr. of Salisbury, NC and Jermaine Walker of Spencer, NC; two daughters, Altovise Walker of Salisbury, NC and Tara Osborne of Charlotte, NC; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
