Christopher William Edward Stanfield

Christopher William Edward Stanfield, 17, of Hawthorne Drive, Indian Trail, NC, passed away on Monday, October 30, from injuries sustained in a car accident.

He was born in Greenville, SC on August 24, 2006, a son of Leslie Cohen Stanfield and the late Solomon M. Stanfield.

Chris was currently a junior at Porter Ridge High School and a member of Rock Hill AME Zion Church in Indian Trail, NC.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 8, at Rock Hill AME Zion Church; 2723 Lawyers Road, Indian Trail, NC.  Visitation will be 12:00  – 1:00 PM, with funeral services at 1:00 PM. The burial will follow.

Those left to cherish fond memories include his mother, Leslie C. Stanfield of the home; aunts, Pamela Cohen, Cynthia Stanfield, Kimberly Stanfield; uncles, Charles Stanfield, Willie Stanfield; god-father, Craig Batchelor; god-mother, Albertina Smith; special mentor, Coach Tarance Rose; and a host of cousins, family friends and childhood buddies; and his loving devoted pal, Luke Stanfield.
