Cravon Cuthbertson, 64, of Moreland Wood Trail, NW, Concord, NC passed away Sunday, July 11, at Transitional Healthcare Services of Kannapolis.
He was born November 4, 1956 in Mecklenburg County to the late C.D. Cuthbertson and the late Mary Doris Wright Cuthbertson.
Cravon was educated in the Mecklenburg County School System and a graduate of Olympic High School, Charlotte, NC. He furthered his education at Central Piedmont Community College. He was formerly employed at McGuire Nuclear Station for 45 years of service and attained numerous achievements.
Cravon was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. During his Christian journey, he had served as a Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent and Head of the Usher Board.
Visitation will be Friday, July 16 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM with Funeral Services on Saturday, July 17, at Carolina Memorial Park Chapel at 11:00 AM.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Swiller Mae Miller.
Those left to cherish fond memories include his wife, Daphne A. Cuthbertson of the home; one daughter, Attevia Cunningham (Randolph) of Charlotte, NC; two sons, Del Cuthbertson (Ivy) of Alexandria, VA, Isaac Cuthbertson (Terri) of Randolph, NJ; one step-daughter, Brandi Nicole McElwaine of Concord; one step-son, Marion McElwaine, Jr. of Belmont, NC; 11 grandchildren; seven brothers, Valice Cuthbertson, Dean Cuthbertson, Crosby Cuthbertson, Joe Cuthbertson, Curtis Cuthbertson, Jessie Cuthbertson and Rockie Cuthbertson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
