Delores Scott, 73, of Furman Court, Kannapolis NC, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Atrium Health - Cabarrus.
She was born July 8, 1949, in Cabarrus County to the late J.B, Scott and the late Helen Burton Scott.
Delores was a graduate of the Cabarrus County School System and was formerly employed with the Cabarrus County Government.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel.
Those left to cherish her fond memories include her son, Gene Scott of Rock Hill, SC, her daughter, Katanya Kelly of Concord, NC; four grandchildren, Jaron Johnson, Nickalas Kelly, Amahl Scott, Torian Scott; two great grandchildren, Akarii Johnson, Kalani Kelly; two sisters, Brenda Lott (Bishop James), Margaret Scott both of Kannapolis, NC; four brothers, Robert Scott of Charlotte, NC, Lester Pharr (Stephanie) of Maryland, Charles Scott (Deborah), Raymond Alexander (Kelly) both of Concord, NC; special niece, Chuckia Scott of Concord, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
