Henry Leroy Hogan

Henry Leroy Hogan, 74, of S. Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC departed this earthly life on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Atrium Health Cabarrus, Concord, NC.

He was born January 17, 1949, in Amityville, New York to the late John Henry Hogan and the late Genevieve Powell.

Leroy was educated in the Suffolk County School System. He was previously employed with Snyder and JB Hunt Trucking Company. Leroy also served in the United States Marines.

Services will be held Monday, November 13, 2023, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, 923 Indiana St., Kannapolis, NC.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 – 12:00 PM with funeral services at 12:00 PM. A burial will follow at Rutherford Memorial Cemetery, Concord, NC.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ulette Hogan, second wife Carolyn Hogan, sister, Genevieve Ward and brother, James Brown.

Those left to cherish fond memories include his daughters, Mary Hogan, Jah’Nira Hogan; adopted daughter Sheena Hogan;  son, LeRoy Hogan; children in love, Scotty Boulware (Glenda), Chantel Jones (Michael), William Boulware, Michael Thompson (Sheila), Le’Hope Thompson (Nikki), KiSaundra Drye (Jerrod); grandchildren, Kwahmae Foster, Alaysia Glasford “Skye”, Joshua Taylor, Crystal Hill, very special granddaughter Jasmine Boulware; great grandson, Kwahmae Foster Jr., sister, Elvina Walker, special nephew Tyrone Morning,   a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers in law, sisters in law and friends.

Due to Covid-19, masks are appreciated if worn in all services.
