Obituary

Ivan Raylee Clifton,  62, of W. Rice St., Landis, NC passed away on Friday, January 22 2021, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, Charlotte, NC.  He was born in Rowan County on June 1, 1958to the late Robert  Lee Clifton and the late Juanita Partee Clifton.

Ivan was educated in the Rowan County Schools  System. He served in the United States Army. Ivan was formerly employed with Copart Trucking Company.  He was a member of Sandy Ridge AME Zion Church.

Public Viewing at Clark Funeral Home, Inc , Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 9:00 AM at the National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC, 28144.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Sylvester Kenyetta Alexander; one grandson, Tyric Santos; one brother, Thomas Patterson.

Those left to cherish his memory includes one daughter, Ricka  Joann Alexander of Kannapolis, four grandchildren; one sister, Deborah C. Wilson (Milton) of Tampa, FL; one brothers, Edward Hampton of Charlotte and a host of four aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
