Janie Bea (Pough) Rose, 78, of Front St., Kannapolis, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Atrium Health-Cabarrus. She was born September 8, 1943 in Cabarrus County to the late James Benson Pough, Sr. and the late Ella Isom Pough.
Janie was educated in the Kannapolis City School System and was a graduate of G.W. Carver High School. She was formerly employed with Cannon Mills. Janie was a member of Bethel AME Zion Church.
Services will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, 923 Indiana St., Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM; with funeral services at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wayne Rose.
She leaves to cherish fond memories, two sons, Eric Rose and Sterling W. Rose both of Kannapolis; niece, Tracie Pough of Kannapolis; nephew, Terrese Pough of Salisbury; two great nieces, Laqune Pough, Deshawn Pough; one great nephew, Terrese Barber and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
