Jerry Allen Bailey

Jerry Allen Bailey, 61, of Barr Road, Concord, NC departed this earthly life on Friday, February 13, 2026, at his residence.

He was born November 22, 1964, in Philadelphia, PA to the late James William Bailey and the late Bernice (Allison) Bailey.

He attended A.L. Brown High School in Kannapolis where he placed second in the state for wrestling. He later received his GED in Charleston, WV. Jerry received his truck driving training from Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute in Hudson, NC. He was also certified for Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning.

Services will be on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Living Water Community Church, 166 N. Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC.  Visitation will be 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM with services at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jefferey W. Bailey and sister Cherlyn D. Bailey.

Cherishing his loving memory are his loving children Micheal P. Womback, South Carolina and daughter, Jerri Z. Wilkerson, Salisbury, NC; beloved grandchildren, Chyina, Cameron and Caleena Williams; three brothers, James M. (Bertha Ann) Bailey, Kannapolis, NC, Johnny L. (Natricia) Bailey, Thomasville, NC, Timothy Bailey, Lexington, NC; five sisters, Vernell J. Rankin, Kannapolis, NC, Janet B. Bailey, Raleigh, NC, Vernice B. (Lee) Smith, Jamestown, NC,  Paula M. (David) Steele, Salisbury, NC, Lundy R. Bailey, New Haven, Connecticut. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. He also had a special friend Rhonda Wilkerson who helped take care of him in his final moments.
