John Junior Pharr, 59, of Shiloh Church Road, Davidson, NC departed this earthly life on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at his residence.
He was born on December 21, 1966, in Cabarrus County to the late Carl Anthony Massey and Annie Pearl Pharr Young.
John was educated in the Cabarrus County School System and received his GED. He was formally employed with Norfolk & Southern Railway.
Services are scheduled for a future date.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Jamel Pharr and his daughter, Reka Benjamin.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his wife, Lois Pharr of the home; son, Dayvuone Pharr of Davidson, NC; two grandchildren, Ashton Pharr and Azonn Pharr; his mother, Annie P. Young of Mt. Pleasant, NC; two sisters, Patricia Young of Mt. Pleasant, NC, Betty Washington of Salisbury, NC; two brothers, Charles Massey and Terry Massey both of Charlotte, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
