Johnny David Hall

Johnny David Hall 75, of Fort Worth Street, Kannapolis, NC departed this earthly life on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Tucker Hospice House.

He was born December 22, 1947, in Cabarrus County to the late Johnny David Horton and the late Lilly Belle Hall Chapman. 

Johnny was educated in the Kannapolis City School System and was a graduate of G. W. Carver High School, Class of 1966. He was formerly employed with the NC Department of Corrections. Johnny was a member of First Baptist Church.

Service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Bethel Baptist Church, 2474 Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM with service to follow at 12:00 PM.  Burial will be on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 10:00 AM at VA National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.

Those left to cherish fond memories include his wife Audrey D. Hall of the home; two sons, Shedrick Hall of Concord, NC. and Marlon Hall (Ladawn) of Raleigh, NC; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Weaver of Kannapolis, NC; and Maybell H. Allen (Larry) of Kannapolis, NC; one brother, Willie Hall of Virginia; one Aunt Mary Grace of Glassboro, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Due to Covid-19, masks are appreciated if worn in all services.
