Obituary

Kenneth Wayne Lipscomb,  67, of Marion Ave., Kannapolis, NC passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Tucker Hospice House.  He was born in Cabarrus County on June 6, 1953 to the late Ernest Andrew Lipscomb and the late Naomi Torrence Lipscomb.

Kenneth was educated in the Cabarrus County Schools and a graduate of A.L. Brown High  School, Class of 1971. He served in the United States Navy.  Kenneth was formerly employed with a Nursing Home.  He was a member of Gilmore Chapel AME Zion Church.

Services will be held on Friday, January 8,  2021 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM, with service at 2:00 PM. 

Burial will be on Monday, January 11, 2021 @ 9:00 AM at The National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC

Those left to cherish his memory includes his wife, Melanie C. Lipscomb of the home; two daughters, Tisa Lipscomb and Kendra Lipscomb both of the home; two grandchildren, Zaylan Russell and Jordan Hailey both of the home; two sisters, Phoebe Lipscomb of Salisbury and Grace Lipscomb of Kannapolis; one brother, Charles Ray Lipscomb of Charlotte; close friend, Jerry McCullough of Kannapolis; one sister-in-law, Martha Lipscomb; two brothers-in-laws, David Gerald Cannon and Donald Cannon  and a host of  nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Due to Covid-19 Mask must be worn to all services.
