Obituary

Larissa Patrice Wheeler, 42 of Settlers Ridge Drive, Kannapolis, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at her residence. She was born August 4, 1979, in Monterey County, CA to James Junior Wheeler, Sr. and the late Deloris Campbell Wheeler.

Larissa was a graduate of Wicomico High School and Cabarrus College of Health Sciences.  She was formerly employed with Atrium Health-Cabarrus.

Service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at New Life Baptist Church, 1281 Biscayne Drive, Concord, NC 28027. Visitation will be 12:00 PM-1:00 PM with services at 1:00 PM.

Larissa was preceded in death by her mother, Deloris Campbell Harmon.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories, one daughter, Shakoria Wheeler of the home; her father, James J. Wheeler, Sr. of Kannapolis; two sisters, Demetria Wheeler, and Jessica Wheeler both of Kannapolis; two brothers, James J. Wheeler, Jr. (Amelia) of Charlotte, Antone Wheeler of Columbus, GA; stepfather, Rev, Irvin Harmon of Kannapolis; bonus sister, Erica Blakeney of Fort Mill, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
