Larvenia Marsh, 79, of Rice Street,   Kannapolis, NC, passed away Friday,  July 3, 2026, at her residence.

She was born on February 25, 1947, in Cabarrus County to the late Bruce Marsh and the late Daisy Mae Crowder Marsh.

Larvenia was educated in the Kannapolis City School System and was a graduate of   G. W. Carver High School.  She was formerly employed with Cannon Mills.

Larvenia was a member of New Restoration Church.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, 923 Indiana Street, Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with funeral services at 12:00 PM.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sophia Young.

Larvenia is survived by one daughter, Bonita Marsh Sims (Tyrone) of Kannapolis, NC; 7 grandchildren, Shatsy Marsh, Ta’Darien Sims, Ontario Sims, Raymond “Tre” Young III, Kemari Sims, Jeremiah Sims, Kaeden Sims; 2 great grandchildren, Corey Carlton and Alissia Carlton and a host of other relatives and friends.
