Legend Tamin Imir Benjamin, 17, of Arbor Spring Dr., Charlotte, NC departed this earthly life on Monday, April 20, 2026, in Kannapolis, NC.

He was born June 30, 2008, in Cabarrus County to Tamin Rajan Benjamin  and Takeisha Nicole Love.

Legend was educated in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg County School Systems and was a current student at Mallard Creek High School.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at New Life Baptist Church, 1281 Biscayne Drive, Concord, NC. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, with funeral services at 1:00 PM.  The burial will follow at Rutherford Cemetery.

Love of Kannapolis, NC; his paternal grandparents, Pamela & Jerome Benjamin of Kannapolis, NC, and Karen Page of Kannapolis, NC; maternal grandmother, Tammy Bostick of Concord, NC; nine sisters, Keiyonne Benjamin, Laiani Benjamin, Laje Benjamin all of Salisbury, NC, Ulani Benjamin of Florida, Talayla Simpson of Kannapolis, NC, Zykiah Benjamin, Z’nya Benjamin, Kanyjah Hopper, Kaliyah Hopper all of Charlotte, NC; six brothers, Ty'Shawn Benjamin of Salisbury NC, Rajan Benjamin, Tamin Benjamin both of Salisbury, NC, Atari Benjamin of Concord, NC, Tay’vion Simpson, Taquaylin Simpson both of Kannapolis, NC and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
