Marianne Wilhelmine (Vagt) Jacobs

Marianne Wilhelmine Vagt Jacobs, 90, of Sides Ave., Kannapolis, NC, departed this earthly life on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Atrium Health-Cabarrus.

She was born July 27, 1933, in Schleswig, Germany to the late Friedrich Vagt and the late Sophie Schleier Vagt.

Marianne received her education in the School System in Germany. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Kannapolis, NC, and served on the LLG as Chairperson of the Outreach Committee.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 204 N. Little Texas Rd., Kannapolis, NC., at 11:00 AM.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Peter Jacobs.

Those left to cherish fond memories include her two daughters, Barbara Guevara of Kannapolis, NC; Karen O’Boyle (Robert) of Lake Hopatcong, NJ; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19, masks are appreciated if worn in all services.
