Marietta Brown Wilson, 76 of Wilson Street, Kannapolis, NC, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 12, 2025 at Kannapolis Health & Rehab.

She was born December 29, 1949  in Brooklyn, New York to the late Claude Brown and the late Mildred Ralford Brown.

Marietta was educated in Kannapolis City School System and was a graduate of G W Carver High School. She was formerly employed with IBM. Marietta was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Bethel Baptist Church, 2474 Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM with funeral services at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish fond memories, her son. Ralph Wilson (Anita) of Kannapolis, NC; her daughter, Kenya Brown of Concord, NC; three grandchildren, Kashanna Wilson, Damarick Harper, Nicholas Miller; two great grandchildren; three brothers, Franklin Brown (Tonda) of Kannapolis, NC; John Bernard Brown of Kannapolis, NC; and Mark  Anthony Brown (Yolonda) of Cleveland, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
