Mary (Lott) Jackson

Mary Lott Jackson, 80, of Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at her residence.

She was born April 4, 1942, in Cleveland County to the late James Lott, Sr. and the late Dorshie Smith Lott.

Mary was educated in the Cabarrus County School System and was formerly employed with Cannon Mills.  She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy where she was the mother of the Church and served as an Usher.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at The Church of God of Prophecy, 402 N. Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC.  Visitation will be 1:00 – 1:30 PM with funeral services at 1:30 PM.  Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

Those left to cherish fond memories include her husband, Steve J. Jackson of the home; one daughter, Marshell Washington of Kannapolis, NC; two grandchildren, Steven Jackson, and Emilia Mason (Dwight) both of Kannapolis, NC; three great grandchildren; four sisters, Brenda Hammond, Helen Johnson (Bobby), Gladys Blackmon all of Kannapolis, NC, Annie Shaw (Bill) of Salisbury, NC; one brother, James Lott, Jr. (Brenda) of Kannapolis, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Due to Covid-19, masks are appreciated if worn in all services.
