Minister Carolyn Livingston Hogan, 71, of S. Little Texas Rd, Kannapolis, NC, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cabarrus. She was born December 23, 1949 in Cabarrus County to the late Clinton Paul Livingston, Sr. and the late Mary Emma Wallace Livingston.
Carolyn was educated in the Cabarrus County School System and was employed as an LPN. She attended St. Peters Lutheran Church where she served on the Choir, Church Council, Worship Committee, Praise Team and Ministry.
Services will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Mt. Calvary Holy Church, 401 Lincoln St., SW, Concord, NC. Visitation will be 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM; with funeral services at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rutherford Memorial Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Livingston Robinson; a brother, Bobby Livingston.
She leaves to cherish fond memories; her husband, Leroy Hogan, Sr. of the home; five daughters, Regina Witherspoon (Ricky) of Concord, Chantel Jones (Michael) of Concord, Kisaundra Drye (Pastor Jerod) of Kannapolis, Mary Hogan of Bermuda, Jahnira Hogan of Kannapolis; five sons, Scotty Boulware, Sr. (Glenda) of Concord, William Boulware of Concord, Leroy Hogan, Jr. of Newport News, VA, Michael Shaft Thompson (Shelia) of Hartford, CT, Clinton LeHope Thompson of Charlotte; 28 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Black (Mabrey) of Concord; two brothers, Clinton Paul Livingston, Jr. (Claire) of Concord, Martin Luther Livingston of Kannapolis; one sister in-law, Nancy Livingston of Concord; one brother in-law, Stanley Robinson of Concord and a host of aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
