Nina Mae Truesdale McCullough, 85, of Rosemont Ave., Kannapolis, departed this earthly life on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at her residence. She was born March 1, 1937, in Lancaster County, SC to the late Lula Mae Truesdale Tate.
Nina, also known as “Toot”, was a graduate of Aggrey Memorial High School where she was a star Basketball Player. She was formerly employed with Cannon Mills.
Nina was a member of Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Living Water Church of God, 166 N. Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC 28083. Visitation will be 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM with services at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lane McCullough, Sr.; a son, Tony Truesdale; a granddaughter, Shamika Truesdale.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories, two sons, Terry Truesdale of Chester, VA, Jimmy L. McCullough, Jr. of Kannapolis, NC; four daughters, Cindy Truesdale, Benita Truesdale and Felicia Truesdale all of Kannapolis, NC, Audrey Hawkins (Nehemiah) of Salisbury, NC; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Smith of Landis, NC and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
