Otis Elizabeth Crawford Grant, 80, of Margate Ave., Kannapolis, NC, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Atrium Health-Cabarrus, Concord, NC.

She was born on June 26, 1945, in Cabarrus County to the late President “Press” Crawford and the late Otis Mae Crawford.

Otis received her education at George Washington Carver High School and was a graduate of the class of 1965. She was  formerly employed with  K & W Cafeteria

Otis attended Living Water Church of God, Kannapolis, NC.

Services will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Living Water Church of God, 162 N. Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, with funeral services at 4:00 PM.  The burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hazel Crawford and George Crawford; one granddaughter, Shaquilla Jones.

Otis  leaves to cherish her memory, four sons, Tony Grant, Micheal Grant, and Danny Grant all of Kannapolis, NC; Franklin Scott Grant (Raechel) of LaGrange, NC; one daughter, Shonda Grant Higgins of Gastonia, NC; one sister, Helen Crawford of Kannapolis, Nc; one brother, Daniel Crawford of Kannapolis, NC; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, one Goddaughter, Madeline Washington; one sister-in law, Adrienne Crawford; special nieces, Nita Parks, Angela Hampton and Stephanie Gardner; special nephews, Tracy Stinson, DE and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
