Randy Heilig, 74, of Princeton Ave., Kannapolis, NC, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2026 at his residence.

He was born September 26, 1951 in Cabarrus County to the late Willie John Heilig and the late Mildred Heilig.

Randy was educated in the Cabarrus County Schools and was a 1969 graduate of A.L. Brown High School.

Randy was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where he was aa member of the User Board, and the Men of Valor.  He was also a Trustee of the Church. 

Services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 6734 Macedonia Church Rd., Concord, NC, 28027.   Visitation will be from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM, with funeral services at 2:30 PM. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Ronnie Heilig.

He leaves to cherish fond memories his wife, Dedra N. Heilig of the home; his sister, Kelly Barr (Stanley) of Winston Salem, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
