Obituary

Samuel Wallace III, 86   of Tripolis Street SE, Concord, NC departed this earthly life on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at his residence.

He was born May 28, 1936, in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Samuel Wallace II and the late Alvesta Ellis Wallace.

Samuel was educated in the Fayette County School System in Lexington, Kentucky, He was a graduate of Douglas High School and attended the University of Kentucky.  He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky, and the Territan Club.

He was preceded in death by a sister Alice Bailey.

A Private Service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, 923 Indiana Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083. A burial will follow at Carolina Cemetery.

Those left to cherish fond memories include his wife Joan M. Wallace of the home; two sons Samuel Wallace IV (Rosella) of Florida; Gary Wallace (Tracy Foster) of Kannapolis, NC; two daughters Anna Wallace of Charlotte, NC;  Charlesetta Everett (Donnie) of Charlotte, NC; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; two nieces Tina Sanders, Elaine Bailey and one nephew Jimmy Bailey; and a host of other relatives and friends

Due to Covid-19, masks are appreciated if worn in all services.
