Sharon Sloan Chambers, 61, of James St., Kannapolis, departed this earthly life on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at her residence. She was born June 14, 1960, in Cabarrus County to the late David Sloan and the late Mamie Phillip Sloan.
Sharon was educated in the Cabarrus County School System and was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School. She was formerly employed with Cannon Mills and her in home Daycare. Sharon was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and the founder of Struggling with Addictions.
Service will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Living Water Church of God, 166 N. Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC 28083. Visitation will be 2:00 PM-3:00 PM with services at 3:00 PM. A burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brionn Sheelor; a brother, James Marvin Sloan.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories, one daughter, Takera C. Sheelor of Kannapolis; one granddaughter, Malaysia Sheelor of Kannapolis; six sisters, Rubetine Brank, Teresa Pore (Rev. Willie), Vanessa Alexander (Ernest) all of Kannapolis, Marsha Sherrill (Phillip) of Raleigh, NC Lisha King (Ron) of Salisbury, NC, Joyce Sloan Banks of Kannapolis; three brothers, David Ray Sloan, Apostle Benny Sloan, Sr. (Constance), John Sloan all of Kannapolis; special niece, Hayden Pore of Kannapolis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
