Verla Mae Knotts Chambers, 88, of Chapwin Circle, Concord, NC, departed this earthly life on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at her residence. She was born January 4, 1935, to the late Lemuel Ashcraft and the late Annie Mae Knotts in Anson County.
Services will be held Monday, May 1, 2023, at Grace Lutheran Church, 58 Chestnut Strette, Concord, NC. Visitation will be 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM with funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 3125 Chapwin Circle, Concord, NC.
