Wesley Alan Turner, Sr., 32, of Bennington Place, St. Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 2, at SSM Health DePaul Hospital, due to injuries sustained In a motorcycle accident.
He was born February 18, 1988 in Forsyth County to Kimberly Turner and Mark A. Mabry.
Wesley was educated in the Rowan County Schools and was a graduate of West Rowan High School where he was one of their star basketball players. He attended Georgia State University. He was employed with Power Home Technology and was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church.
Services will be held Saturday, June 13, at First Calvary Baptist Church, 432 S. Long Street, Salisbury, NC. Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 PM, with funeral services at 1:00 Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Those left to cherish his memory includes, his children, Akari Turner and Wesley A. Turner, Jr. both of Salisbury; parents, Kimberly T. Harding of Kannapolis, Mark Mabry of Salisbury; step-father, Tony A. Harding of Kannapolis; two brothers, Chandler A. Turner (Amanda) of Salisbury, Caleb N. Harding of Kannapolis; two sisters, Bria J. Turner (Anthony) and Toni A. Harding both of Kannapolis; grandparents, Geraldine Grasty of Salisbury, Rev. Wesley and Shirley Harding of Kannapolis; special uncle, Rev. Leaman Brown (Beatrice) of Salisbury; children’s mother, Mylisa Miller, special friend, Shenice Allen; a host of other relatives and special brothers to include Shine, Hurks Life as well as Home Team and friends.
