Zacchaeus Lemar Williamson, 27, of Russell St., Kannapolis, NC, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Atrium Health-Cabarrus.

He was born on December 1, 1998, in Mecklenburg County to Mark A. Williamson and Leslie Mayhew Williamson.

Zacchaeus was educated in the Kannapolis City Schools. He was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School and attended Averett University.

Zacchaeus was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church where he was the Drummer and a member of the Choir and Outreach Ministry.

Services will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 6740 Macedonia Church Road., Concord, NC. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, with funeral services at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Lee Mayhew, Virginia Mayhew, Rev. Matthew Williamson, and Margaret Williamson.

He is survived by his parents, Mark & Leslie Williamson of the home; two sisters, Tamiara Crowder of Mooresville, NC and Virginia Williamson of the home;  grandmother, Martha Williamson of Mooresville, NC; god grandmother, Darlene Leazer of Salisbury, NC; three nieces; three great nieces; bonus brother, Antonio Davis and a host of other relatives, and friends.
