Ruthie Laverne (Johnson) Jackson, 69, of Autumn West Drive, Riverdale, GA, formerly of Kannapolis passed away on Wednesday, January 13, at her residence. She was born in Cabarrus County on February 28, 1951to the late Chalmers Johnson, Sr. and the late Sara Frances (Welch) Johnson.
Ruthie was educated in the Cabarrus County School Systems and a graduate of A.L. Brown High School. She also attended Friendship Community College. Ruthie was formerly employed with AT&T.
Public Viewing on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home, Inc. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 1:00 PM att Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Trinita Renee’ Jackson; a sister, Shirley Jean Chapmon; two brothers, Reginald Johnson and James Watson.
Those left to cherish her memory includes, her husband, Postell Joe Frazier of the home; one son, Trayous Jackson (Enterria) of Riverdale, GA; three grandchildren, Trayous Jackson, III, Trinity Jackson and Travon Jackson; one sister, Teresa J. Morris of Charlotte; three brothers, Chalmers Johnson (Catherine) of Kannapolis, Alvin Johnson of Concord and Earl Johnson of Kannapolis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
